No title - expert review 1888 Af Chapmann built a beautiful boat and named it Dunboyne. After having ridden the waves for many decades, it was taken over by the Swedish tourist centre in 1949 and is anchored today in Stockholm as a youth hostel, offering 290 beds with a wonderf... cityguide.com
No title - expert review This circa-1888 sailing ship, permanently moored in Stockholm Harbor just across from the Royal Palace, is a landmark in its own right. Book early - the place is so popular in summer that finding a bed may prove difficult. Breakfast (SKr 45) is not included in the room rate; there are no kitchen fac... fodors.com
No title - expert review This former craftsman's workshop in a pleasant and quiet part of the island was converted into a hostel for the overflow from the af Chapman, another hostel an anchor's throw away. Breakfast costs an additional SKr 45. 155 beds, 2- to 6-bed rooms. In-hotel: la... fodors.com
No title - expert review Moored off Skeppsholmen, this authentic three-masted schooner has been converted into a youth hostel ideal for families. Staterooms have two, four, six, or eight beds; there are no single cabins. Each section - one for men, one for women - has showers and washrooms. Personal lockers are available. T... frommers.com
Go Af Chapman - user review the Collin brothers, Dan and Bjorn, who own this ship hostel, are the greatest guys ever, as their family is from Farsta just outside the city and they deserve all the success. Best thing about Sweden. Backpackers like... fodors.com
No title - user review excellent location, too expensive, very small roomsIn May 2007, I stayed in the house for one night only. The boat was out of function. It was three beds room, more than small it serves only to spend a night there. It's on the best place in the city, clean, the toilets with soap and paper hand towel... hostelz.com

No title - user review I stayed in this hostel in April 2005. It was a great hostel. I spent the second night on the second floor in a room for two and I had a perfect view. I could see Gamla Stan by night with a lot of lights and it was great. I had a great time in this hostel and I hope to have the opportunity to visit ... hostelz.com
No title - user review I stayed on both the ship and in the house. I got to be in a dorm room on shore, but ended up the first night in a one person hut on top of the ship. The quality of those huts is very bad. You have to sleep on a 1.5 meter high cabinet, there are cracks in the door, and during the night ants invaded ... hostelz.com
No title - user review I'm a bit older now but I stayed on the ship in 1997 and will never forget it. It was a wonderful experience to be aboard a majestic vessel, which overlooked beautiful downtown Stockholm. The spiders on the ship were huge but didn't bother me. Still, if you sleep on a top bunk in one of the cabins y... hostelz.com

No title - user review The AF Chapman has perhaps the best hostel location I've ever seen. For this category it would be banal talking only about cleanness, breakfast, the kindness of the staff and so on, even if also in these categories the Chapman is very good. Just spend some hours at night on the bridge, looking at Ga... hostelz.com

No title - user review This is such a brilliant hostel the staff are friendly and go out of their way to help you, it's clean and homey and the views and location are excellent. I stayed on the ship last year and I'm going back again in a few weeks, this time staying in the building. Personally I didn't see any spiders on... hostelz.com
No title - user review This was a really excellent hostel. It is centrally located and has really good views of Stockholm from the ship. We stayed on the boat in an eight bed dorm, and I would recommend sleeping here if you can. There's a lock out, but they're pretty laid back about it. Breakfast is pricey, but the kitche... hostelz.com

No title - user review We stayed on the boat for two nights and our impression of it is excellent. Staying on the boat is better than staying in the house, because you feel like a sailor. It's wonderful to wake up and see the sea. I recommend this place. It's the b... hostelz.com

Vandrarhem af Chapman & Skeppsholmen - Stockholm - Lonely Planet Hotels & Hostels The legendary af Chapman is a storied vessel that has travelled plenty on its own. It's now well anchored in a superb, quiet location, swaying gently in sight of the city centre. Bunks in dorms below decks have a nautical ambience, unsurprisingly.
