Brusani Travel Guide

Brusani is on the Gospic to Karlobag road, known for its fish-farming. There is the parochial church of St. Martin built in 1854. Near the village there is an attractive cave called Velebnicka Glavica which is under protection as a natural rarity.


In 1936 there was the uprising of the Croatian Ustashas against the Serbian-Yugoslav dictatorship, led by Andrija Artukovic and Mile Budak. Brusane has the Velebno Hotel, attractive because of its position and architecture.
