Dabar is a village of 600 inhabitants on the local road Otocac-Licka Jasenica (570 meters above sea level). It lies on the brink of the Dabar field (Dabarsko poIje). It was first mentioned in 1449. The parochial church of St. Michael the Archangel was built in 1730. Here you can find the remains of the Frankopan city. The Dabar field is partly flooded at certain times of the year, so that in its northern part the people sow barley and corn while in the lower part there are meadows and pastures. | |
