twice in three years Melissa says 17 years ago |
I have visited Dublin twice since 2003, the second time being in the summer of 2006. I love this city - the pubs in Temple Bar are great, Grafton Street is a lot of fun for shopping and I felt safe walking around the city. The Guinness Factory tour is a little cheesy, but the view of the city at the end is unbelievable. The fish and chips from Leo Burdock's are a great meal and the upstairs dining room at The Oliver St. John Gogarty was pretty tasty as well. If you have some extra money to spend, The Clarence is a very nice place to stay, with an easy walk to Temple Bar. |

A lot of great places to shop in Dublini.... I loved the Powerscourt CEntre and Grafton Street. But everything is so expensive! I think I went temporarily insane when I was there and ended up with a couple thousand dollar credit card balance at the end of it all. But you only live once, right? |
Dublin shouldn't be expensive! Brian says 16 years ago |
For your next trip to Dublin there are a couple of websites worth a look. Free Dublin http://www.freedublin.com and an up to date local website called Hidden Dublin http://www.hidden-dublin.com
