Ervenik Travel Guide

Ervenik is a county seat with a population of 1,570, situated near the Kistanje - Obrovac road. It is a straggling village, consisting of several hamlets and divided into Donji Ervenik and Gornji Ervenik. It is the centre of the garment industry for children called "Ponos".

Ervenik was first mentioned as a parish in 1402. However, the Church of St. Michael was built before the first mention of the parish. In the Croatian war of Independence the village was severely damaged.
