We attempted to eat here 9/11/10. I usually eat just the lo mein & shrimp items but my hubby he likes a variety. As soon as we saw the food we should've turned around & walked out but we thought we'd try it anyway...wrong choice! Every shrimp dish was brown & slimy..I can't really explain the texture but it was disgusting, the lo mein dry & disgusting, again can't even describe it. I took maybe 3 bites & started feeling nauseous. My husband ate a few bites but couldn't handle anymore. We asked for the check & got a look like ok but you didn't eat & when we went to pay I told her I wanted to speak to a manager because the food is disgusting & we were not going to pay. She asked me what we ate & I told her we didn't eat. the food was too disgusting to eat. She said we have over 200 customers a day with no complaints (maybe b/c people are too afraid to complain?) She kept asking me what we ate & I kept telling her we didn't. She said I can't give you free food when you ate....we went around & round for at least 10 mins with a line behind us with people waiting to pay. She said I can give you $5 off tho' I said for food we didn't eat? I told them if I get sick or food poisoning I would be suing. she just rolled her eyes. I was sick the rest of the night with the few bites I did eat. My husband finally said let's just pay & get out of here b/c no matter what, they were going to have us pay...sorry but we should've just walked out anyway! I wish I knew who to complain to b/c their food is not worth feeding to my dog, it's that bad! We eat at a Chinese Buffet in Crawfordsville at least once a month & they're the best around that area. I told hubby if the workers/owners & customers want to know what GOOD chinese food is they ought to come over this way b/c believe me they'll see a huge difference & NEVER go back to eating what they call food there |
