No title - expert review A comfortable and elegant choice located a 5-minute drive west of the village center, this home was built in 1890 by a lumber baron who hoarded the best wood for himself; the cherry and maple floors are so beautiful you'll feel guilty for not taking off your shoes. A nightmare at the Jackson Inn - user review What a horrible experience we had at the Jackson Inn. I booked my reservations in January'06 for a June 11 dinner reservations. The special occassion was my daughter's and her boy friend's graduation from Dartmouth College. The Inn charged my credit card $30/reservation. They wanted 1 week's notice ... fodors.com
