No title - user review Good for a city hostel. Don't expect too much from the Camel, especially when comparing it with some of the smaller places outside of the big cities. It's kind of soul less, with a level of anonymity to it. It does have clean rooms and a ... hostelz.com

No title - user review I don't know where the people giving this hostel good ratings can have stayed at, but it can't be many hostels. Good points friendly, helpful staff. Good free trips put on by the Hostel. Free meal in the evenings. Too little for hungry blokes but free and ok food unless you are a fussy eater. Decent... hostelz.com
No title - user review I love fat camel! I was only staying a week, ended up staying for two more weeks before I came home. I had great xmas and new year parting with loads of cool people I met and even the staff was parting hard with us! I love them! No title - user review I loved this hostel. It's friendly and fun. If you're traveling alone this is definitely a good place to go to because they make you feel so welcome. There are a few things that could do with a bit of attention (a lick of paint in my room for example) but these are small things that don't really mat... hostelz.com
No title - user review I would say this hostel is good because it is one of the cheaper ones in town. The rooms are nice but the layout is a bit weird, almost like university halls. It can be really noisy if you have a loud crowd in your floor. The free dinner is good though, and you can top it up for a small amount. It h... hostelz.com
No title - user review I've stayed at better hostels. Fat Camel has a sort of run down feel about it. It's not well maintained and quite scruffy, a little dirty and the showers are small and poorly designed. The free meal is very small I didn't get a free beer or wine my first night. They do have some kind of entertainmen... hostelz.com
No title - user review Lively and friendly hostel. The free dinner is good, if small. Friendly bar with cheap drinks. I stayed in a twin room here and it was very pokey. It had no windows and was basically just a box. The decor was bright and clean, and the apartment style set up, where five or six rooms share a kitchen a... hostelz.com
No title - user review Stay here if you want unfriendly staff that ignores you till they decide that you've waited long enough, dirty showers, even dirtier kitchen, and no sleep cause it is so loud you can't get any. Seriously, the noise was not only coming from other people staying there, but from their own bar downstair... hostelz.com
No title - user review The staff are friendly and yes it can take a little while to check in especially when a busload of people turn up (although I don't know any hostel where you don't have to wait when ten people all turn up at once). The Free food is good and it only costs a small amount to get a bigger portion and a ... hostelz.com

No title - user review This is a very cool place to stay. I didn't really realize that it was in somewhat of a red light district, but it was still a very safe and secure hostel, so I never worried. The food is decent for a free meal, and each dorm has a comfortable sitting area and a separate kitchen, which was really co... hostelz.com
