No title - expert review Stay with us and get a free T-shirt (this offer is valid untill 25 March 2007) Hotel Belvedere is located in Marghera. We are just a five minute walk from the city's main train station, Mestre - exit Marghera. There is also a bus to Venice city center every 10 minutes and it takes just 7 minutes to ... bootsnall.com
No title - user review DEFINITELY skip this hotel. They claimed our 10% deposit was not paid to the hotel, but to the online booking service so we would be charged the full room fee. Instead of all of the en suite rooms for four we booked far in advance for our group, a dorm room for twelve with a single person bathroom w... hostelz.com
No title - user review It was the best option for a group of four people. We needed to sleep as close as possible to the airport because our flight was very early. We paid 27 euros each in a four bed private en suite room without breakfast. It wasn't cheap but it was clean and 15 minutes walking distance from the train st... hostelz.com
No title - user review It's far from the city center, but it's a good place to stay. Our room was clean and even had a bathroom/shower in it. The only thing I didn't like was the fact the heat wasn't on/windows were open and it was like 40 outside. Thankfully we... hostelz.com
No title - user review Skip this hostel. It isn't even in Venice. It is not a budget hotel because you have to pay about 10 Euros to get to and... hostelz.com
No title - user review Thank goodness I was only here one night!! Venice may be only one train stop (7 10 minutes) away, but you don't feel like you're near the city. I concluded, after walking around a bit, that the hostel is in Venice's version of CHINATOWN. A suburb (which does indeed have an excellent pizza joint near... hostelz.com
No title - user review The hostel is quite far from the city of Venice but quite close to bus and train services. The girl at the desk spoke some English and gave us directions to a good pizzeria and the right buses to take. The neighbourhood indeed doesn't look very safe. But this is what you get when you stay in Mestre/... hostelz.com
No title - user review The room was not so clean. No lockers were provided. No TV and no in... hostelz.com
No title - user review The worst thing about this hotel is the location!!!! It's far from the city center of Venice. We had to take a 10 15 min bus ride across this bridge/road thing to get into Venice! It was such a hastle! Stay somewhere closer within the city! Pay a little extra for the location. It'll be much more con... hostelz.com
No title - user review This hostel lied to us about lockers, and conveniently added future charges to our credit card. The neighborhood is horrible. If you like barred windows, and German shepherds with spiked collars, this may... hostelz.com
No title - user review This hostel was excellent, but on weekends book in advance even in the off season. I was here in mid November 2004. The dorm at the far end was charming and had it's own bathroom and porch with French doors very nice. The Internet here isn't free and it isn't cheap, compared to some Internet points/... hostelz.com
No title - user review This is the worst 'hotel' that we have ever stayed at. Not only are the pictures completely fabricated, but we paid for a private bath and TV, neither of which we recevied. The walls were paper thin, and the location was not convenient. If you're still having doubts: On the walk back to the hostel a... hostelz.com
No title - user review Three words: Don't stay here! The photos are totally misleading! Even dogs don't want to live here! It has bad facilities and a bad environment! There are no English speaking staff! Does the owner know what the definition ... hostelz.com
No title - user review We have had and excellent room and a clean bathroom. It's not in the City Center, but with one Euro you're there (it takes 6/7 minutes by bus). If you have a fixed budget, this hotel is for you. This was the cheapest hotel in Venice, and the area is very convienient. There are nice, cheap restaurant... hostelz.com
No title - user review We stayed here and it was great. The staff were more than helpful and were English speaking. The room was extremely clean and with our own bathroom. Although it's not in the city centre, it only takes a 7 minute, 1 Euro bus ride to get there and the stop is a very short walk. We would recommend this... hostelz.com
No title - user review We stayed in this hotel. The room was very clean, the price is very honest (see the prices in Venice). The owner Tony speaks perfect english (to a Swedish girl) and he was very helpful. Our room was has a perfectly clean bathroom. I think if you have a fixed budget it... hostelz.com
