No title - expert review We have 84 beds in our YHA hostel , (only 7 Km far from the Milano Orio al Serio airport) added together with a variety of the common areas, the open plan of our building plus the pleasant, serene atmosphere are just a few of the characteristics that make of Bergamo YH such a great place to stay. We... bootsnall.com
No title - user review I stayed here last summer sometime. I loved the sprint up those steps from the bus stop. Great fun, especially with over packed bags. This hostel is well kept, the staff are friendly and helpful, and they speak English (which is handy for your average paddy muck savage). The local shop was fairly ha... hostelz.com
No title - user review I was lucky to be in the family room with nice other guys. It's worth the little walk up hill. Very modern and clean with nice terrazzo where you can hang out and chat with other guests. Bergamo (centro alto) is really worth... hostelz.com
No title - user review Man, it was so great that I didn't see any of Bergamo I ran around the hostel the wh... hostelz.com
No title - user review Nice clean hostel. The staff are friendly and the beds are a great value for the money. Eight people in the room made it a little stuffy, but the bathroom was fine and the price includes brekfeast. There is a bus stop across the road (even thou... hostelz.com
No title - user review Positives: Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms very clean. Would stay here again and highly recommend it to any budget traveller.Negatives: our bathroom door handle came off so you couldn't close the door all the way. Only one outlet in the room when you have several gadgets to plug in, you have ... hostelz.com
No title - user review The guy there has discovered whole new levels of indifference. Answer your questions Yes. Feel like you're inconveniencing the guy Absolutely. It just felt like too much trouble. But the hostel was very modern, clean, and good value, though it seems like a transit point for flights in and out of Ber... hostelz.com
No title - user review The hostel is ultra clean, that I cannot deny. But the curfew and lockout man, just can't deal with that! At 1am you gotta be in, by 10 o'clock you gotta be out of the room, and leave the ... hostelz.com
No title - user review This is a typical HI [Hostelling International] hostel. It's clean, institutional but generally a good place to stay. It's located a bit out of town (and 200 stairs from the bus stop). I stayed in an eight bed dorm with en suite bathroom. Lots of people stay here before flying out of Bergamo, but do... hostelz.com
No title - user review This place is an epic effort to get to. First of all, their directions are wrong. There is no number 14 bus. Instead you need to get the number 6 and then change to get the number 3. Overall it was nice when I got there en suite bathroom, decent breakfast and helpful staff. Don't expect to get there... hostelz.com
No title - user review Very, very clean. But you have to leave your room at 10 a.m., which is hard for people like me who like to sleep in. You're always going to be woken up early, like being in a military school. Bergamo is very nice. You have to walk around the Citta Alta (old city). Take Bus 1A up the hill, and you wi... hostelz.com
No title - user review We arrived here at roughly 10:30 p.m., after a confusing bus ride from the airport and the lack of signs on bus stops. The hostel is very institutional and there is little cafe roughly 10 minutes away. Apart from that there is little nearby. The outside garden is brilliant, nice fresh air with a saf... hostelz.com
No title - user review We stayed in a family room of four persons in July 2003. It was very clean. You needed to take bus 14 to get there. (http://www.atb.bergamo.it/linee orari/linee.asp). It's possible to put your luggage in a locker room before you check in and it can stay in that same room too when you check out so yo... hostelz.com
No title - user review We stayed in July, 02 in 2 bed family room, private bath, large balcony, stupendous view, friendly, helpful staff. Bus 15 min. to town sightseeing... hostelz.com
No title - user review We visited the hostel during February 2002 and February 2003. The hostel is functional and clean, but unfortunately has more of a feel of a hospital than a home. The hostel needs some sofas and rugs to make it homely. The staff are friendly and helpful, and gave us great advice on where to go to ski... hostelz.com
