No title - expert review Back in the good old days of yore when my family was wont to do Europe on $5 a Day in an Ugly Orange VW Camper-van, this was our Florentine parking spot de choix. Here we could sleep with a select 1,000 of our fellow campers and have almost the same vista that the tour buses get up above on Piazzale... frommers.com
No title - user review After staying at four of the Camping Plus Villages in Italy, we found this to be the poorest. The house tents were fine, if a bit cramped, but we were only here for two nights so it didn't really matter much. It's easy to find, and there is a bus to it from the train station. It offers great views o... hostelz.com
No title - user review Best location in Florence view wise. We had one of the hire tents and could open up the door in the morning with a view over the top of Florence. It is right next to Piazza Michelangelo. Very clean (but take your own toilet paper). No kitchen, but there are frozen meals available and a shop on site.... hostelz.com
No title - user review I quite enjoyed this campsite. It's not as big as the one in Rome so you get to know a lot of the guests. It has pretty much everything you need, with an awesome view! Washrooms are so so. Heads up, there are a lot of families camping there... hostelz.com
No title - user review I'm so glad I found this campsite. It's just perfect for backpackers. My friend and I stayed in the little tents that are already set up and have beds in them. We're both teenage girls and felt incredibly safe. Only problem was that the toilets were far away so wee before you go to bed or you'll get... hostelz.com
No title - user review Me and my girlfriend found this campsite great, although it was hard to find. The price is good and the panoramic view is excellent. We went there during 1999. We hope that they improved the showers... hostelz.com
No title - user review Nice place! It's a little bit far from the city, but the walk is through Piazza Michelangelo, which gives you a wonderful view of the city. There are also real beds. The c... hostelz.com
No title - user review Pros: Near the city, which is easy to reach (buses 12 & 13) Quiet and nice (for those who don't like loud music) Very friendly staff Nice view of the whole of Florence Free hot showers Free ride with camping car to your spotCons: No toilet paper in the toilets Toilets aren't very cleanThis is a nice... hostelz.com
No title - user review This campsite offers all the facilities you might need even though they've got some strange 'toilets' and in some shower cabins it's hard to keep your clothes and toiletries dry. Overall it's clean, prices are reasonable and there's a busstop right in front of the campsite. The housetents can be loc... hostelz.com
No title - user review This campsite was good, the price was right (it was the cheapest bed we found in Italy), and the bar had a great view and nice caf latt . The hostel is a good walk from town, but it was a very nice way to see Florence. We stayed in a tent with two cots in it. The only problem was that it was pretty ... hostelz.com
No title - user review This campsite was the poorest of several we stayed at in Italy. The location is wonderful and the price is right but the tents are tiny, smelly and not correctly sealed. They are basically four poles with a sheet over it and there are large gaps all around the bottom, meaning loads of insects and an... hostelz.com
No title - user review This is a very popular and social campsite. The location is great. The toilet facilities are reasonable but sometimes you get long queues. The bar/restaurant area is very popular. The ground for camping is very hard and somewhat dusty but you can forgive them for their location and ease of access to... hostelz.com
No title - user review This is actually a really nice place to stay with an astounding view of the city. It doesn't do much more than offer you a place to stay at night, but that's all you need in Florence. House tents are boiling during the day but, yet again, you won't be there then. One drawback is that they don't let ... hostelz.com
No title - user review Very basic campsite, no pool, just a bar where they charge you too much for everything, and they even try to make you pay for A paper plate. Go prepared with your own everything, even toilet paper. It's in a good location though. You can walk 10 minutes to a great view and from there 30 to the city.... hostelz.com
Great value if you don't mind camping - user review I thought it was great - very inexpensive, a nice view of the city, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I went in late October, so it got pretty cool at night and the mattr... travel.yahoo.com
