Postire is the birthplace of Vladimir Nazor, a famous Croatian poet. It is located on the island of Brae, at an elevation of 22 m. The sun shines on the neighboring beaches, vineyards and rock quarries. "The Way of the Cross" was painted by three 18C artists. This intriguing work is places within the church of St John the Baptist, built in 1766. The ruins of an old-Christian basilica are located in the Lovresan cove.
