Taking over

big says 12 years ago
We visited and want to know when did the red river become the rio grand. Turner falls has been taken over by the mexican people. The just do not care about the park, They came in and tried to take over where people we set up. If you have things on a table they will move it and take your table and spot. One group told us that we had better not try to swim in there spot. They throw trash and just do not care. I actualy saw some from my cabin bathing, That is discusting. They will not turn down the music and I think that the park people just do not care at 12$ per head. Brush up on your spanish if you go. Go early they are taking over at 6 am. I am shure that there all not this way, but from what I saw its bad. Like sitting in dirty bath water.

We went off season just for the day... It did seem quite commercial. It was an attractive setting, the water was lovely and clear... however I would say with a beautiful natural setting like this it does spoil it when they've added concrete bridges and metal handrails... Next time... build things th...

Turner Falls Park - Davis, OK 73030
The area is huge and offers primitive camping (that means bring your own tent), RV hook-ups, and cabin rentals.
