Unije is a little island covering 17 square km and a settlement with 80 inhabitants. It was known even during the classical period. It was named up to the Greek word "Heeneios," meaning a field. The place has a church of St. Andrija from the 15th century and a sort of sport airport for small passenger airplanes (up to 20 passengers) and the sport ones too. | |
