Valun Travel Guide

Valun is a very small settlement with 34 inhabitants, situated on the island of Cres. In the local church, on the inner wall of sacristy there is an epitaph written during the 11th century. Probably, it is the oldest Glagolitic epitaph at Croats. Beautiful beaches, lush vegetation and nice fish - one can only have a wish to experience these nature gifts. The bay of Valun is the richest bay of shrimp on the whole Adriatic coast.
