No title - expert review This stylish four-story brick hotel sits across the street from the convention center, in the heart of Old Oakland. In operation since 1905, the hotel has up-to-the-minute decor: red couches accent beige, black, and dark-wood tones in the generous lobby, which has Wi-Fi access. Elegant touches inclu... fodors.com

No title - expert review First opened in 1913 under the name Hotel Rey, the Washington Inn Hotel took its name in the 1040s and has always been a privately owned business. Bad customer service, poor restaraunt service too - user review This hotel is actually horrible. I recently stayed there a couple times on business and found, like the earlier reviewer, one maintenance problem after another. The A/C didn't work, the vending machine was broken, and my tv didn't work, and no one had anything to say except that they're aware of the... eastbay.citysearch.com
Hot rooms - user review While the hotel is interesting in appearance, the lack of parking and location make it low on my list of hotels to revisit. The air conditioner in our room blew out lukewarm air, and when this was reported to the desk clerk, he informed us this was an "ongoing problem." Since there was no ... eastbay.citysearch.com
Decent room in quiet part of town. - user review It is an older hotel, so it has quaint feeling to it. It is in a quiet section of oakland, so there was no problem with train noises or other things that might wake you in the middle of the night. The carpet is a bit old; I wouldn't walk around the room barefoot. The hotel is on a one way street. Yo... expedia.com
Beautiful Old Oakland! - user review This hotel is a renovated classic hotel in the heart of Old Oakland. It has a unique charm lending to a hotel experience that is much more fulfilling than one would have if staying in a big chain hotel. The beds are comfortable with clean, crisp white sheets, duvet. Pedastal sinks inside each room a... expedia.com
No title - user review It was our anniversary and unfortunately this was the worst hotel experience we have ever had. One was not avai... mytravelguide.com
