| The best places to visit are not in Jakarta but they're in Bali and Jogjakarta. There are however, good places you can scuba dive that are just an hour's boat ride away from Jakarta. Jakarta is a good place you can get souvenirs. Pasaraya is a mall kind of place that has a lot of interesting things to get as presents for your friends and family. Chances are you'll be making a stop over in Jakarta to get to the famous sites. You could stay here a day or two just to see what the capital is like. The contrast between ultra modern buildings and shanties is a sight that won't leave your memory too easily. |
